About the artist Julie Williams...
Julie Williams is a popular & prolific glass painter, well known for stylish and original designs. She resides part of each year in the UK, and part of the year on the Greek Island of Corfu.
Fascinated by patterns and colour, Julie decided that she could be more creative by painting on glass - a technique that had always interested her. She quickly realised that she could offer much more than other glass painters by selecting original glassware on which to produce exquisite and colourful designs in some of her favourite styles - 'Greek,' ‘Celtic’ and ‘Art Nouveau’.
Celtic designs, with their intricate and abstract forms, together with the ever popular graceful and fluid lines of Art Nouveau, give Julie the inspiration to create many of the products in her line, while her experiences living in Greece have also influenced her creations.
